The Young Women’s Career Conference is an event where young female high school students were exposed to potential professions of the future with the guidance of leading women in their respective fields. The mentors range from a plethora of industries, such as government, STEM, law enforcement, and so much more. The Young Women’s Career Conference was a forum in which the high school students had the opportunity to engage with women about their stories, learning from their mistakes and the challenges of becoming successful in male dominated industries. The planning of this event included decorating the conference center the day of the event, catering, communicating with the mentors and the schools, and cleaning the venue.
